ABOUT US

HAA is dedicated towards achieving circular economy through recycling, resource recovery, and compliance with internationally accepted ESG standards. Our vision is to foster our human capital, shareholder value, climate protection, economic & environmental sustainability, public health and wellbeing of our communities.

Our scope of services cover collection, transport, processing, and re-refining of a broad range of hydrocarbon feedstocks and waste materials, with outputs that include market-ready fuels and petrochemical industry feedstocks for export of markets.

Human Capital development, Resource Recovery and Sustainability remain amongst the key elements of our ethos, governing the choice of our technologies, operating methodologies, and policies.

TECHNOLOGY

TECHNOLOGY

In addition to currently servicing the oil, hydrocarbon, and byproduct treatment and export sectors, we are also in the process of establishing a state-of-the-art re-refinery in Saudi Arabia that will convert wastes and petroleum/petrochemical byproducts into premium market products for export. The key design criteria of our re-refinery include extensive BAT integration to deliver maximum flexibility with respect to feed types, energy recovery/recycle, discharge of clean & compliant effluents, and production of a broad range of outputs that can be used as petroleum & petrochemical feedstocks, as well as custom finished products for specialized industrial applications. Technical & economic efficiency, sustainability and Environmental Health and Safety remain amongst the key governing principles of our design basis.

"HAA generates value through long-term social, technological & economic sustainability…"

SUSTAINABILITY

The standard current global practice is based on extracting materials from the Earth to make products, which are eventually returned to the Earth as disposed waste. By contrast, we take a a proactive resource recovery approach in all our investments, projects, technologies, and operations in order to foster minimization and/or elimination of waste production at every stage, so as to attain a global circular economy.

Our resource recovery approach involves deployment of Best Available Technologies (BAT) to yield:

  • Conversion of waste materials and byproducts into clean and completely reusable final products, at their highest economic value

  • Minimization of waste and pollution

  • Regeneration of nature & the environment

  • Clean-up of the environment through depletion of existing stored wastes.
